Doc Barham, founder and owner of Coach Hollywood, is a professional coach, consultant, speaker, trainer and author. Over the last 15 years, Doc has established an outstanding reputation as a change expert and success coach for high achievers such as Fortune 500 CEO’s, professional athletes, entertainment celebrities, and more. After completing his studies at Virginia Tech University, Doc was passionate about giving the gift of laughter and traveled the world as a professional entertainer, headlining clubs and colleges. Recognized as the only professional entertainer in the United States with two entirely different headline shows, one as stand up comedian, the other as stage hypnotist, Doc was invited to perform at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. While on tour, he continued his education between performances completing over one hundred workshops and seminars in personal growth and development and gained certifications in close to a dozen therapeutic modalities. During an extended meditational retreat, Doc began experiencing a series of expanded and profoundly transformative states that continued for more than two years until eventually stabilizing into what is known as witnessing consciousness. As a result, after more than a decade as a professional entertainer, Doc shifted careers and began applying his training by asking people about their dreams and then coaching them to fulfillment. Since that time, he has worked with individuals from such diverse organizations as the NBA, PGA, NASA, NASCAR, World Series Of Poker, the Country Music Association, Playboy, the Oprah Winfrey Network, and Oprah.com while helping thousands of people from around the world accomplish their dreams, including Philadelphia 76ers All Star Elton Brand and professional poker player Cyndy Violette.
Doc is a certified master coach, clinical hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner, BCIA certified neurofeedback and biofeedback clinician, Reiki master, Chi Gong practitioner, and is certified as a trainer for both The Institute Of Heartmath and The Monroe Institute. Doc is also an award-winning speaker and member of the National Speakers Association. He is a recognized expert and authority on the psychology and methodologies of peak performance for personal, professional, and organizational transformation. He continues to be a regularly featured guest on television and radio programs, and is a frequent contributor of articles for newspapers, magazines and websites around the world.
Most recently, Doc has appeared as a guest expert on the History Channel, Extra TV’s Lifechangers, Spike TV’s 1000 Ways to Die, AP’s Hollywood Trend Report, The Big Biz Show, is in production as host of his own radio show, is currently shooting a series regular role for an upcoming reality television show, and has just launched his latest web project at XtraordinaryOutcomes.com.
